Tumburglr

03/10/2010 10:00

The Tumburglr Tshirt is the latest Meme Engine joint. I’m not loving it as much as the Pre-Posterous tee, but again: I’m biased. Tumblr addicts might appreciate it a little more than a Tumblr noob like myself, but I’m slowly adding some good stuff to ATshirtTumblr so be sure to check it out! And you can purchase Tumburglr for $24+.

Your Blog Is Pre-Posterous

03/4/2010 16:00

I believe this Tshirt is an awesome homage to Posterous. That’s probably because it’s mine. I created it for myself but decided to let Meme Engine have it…because we’re family and because ME is the best home for it. Since then, I’ve featured a number of their tees but I think it’s time I give myself a little pat on the back by posting Your Blog Is Pre-Posterous. (Technically, my blog is, too…but ATshirtPosterous isn’t.) It’s a simple type tee that makes me smile, which is why I thought to make it in the first place. Posterous is extremely powerful and versatile…so much so that I still haven’t made proper use of mine. [You know I will, though. Same goes for Tumblr. A lot of people compare the two, but I find them to be quite different and will use them to different ends. So keep an eye on them!] Anyway, if you’re a fan of Posterous, you should probably buy this for $24+ — it makes me look good! (And it will make you look good, too.)

Keep It On ‘Til The Break Of Dawn

02/24/2010 12:00

Here’s another Keep Calm… iteration; this one is by a blog favorite: Meme Engine. I’m biased when it comes to whatever ME puts out so, naturally, I believe that Keep It On ‘Til The Break Of Dawn is one of the better Keep Calm spin-offs. What do you think? I’ve only posted one other Keep Calm inspired tee, though there are definitely some other notable ones out there. [I just compiled a list of some here!] Anyway, you can buy this one for $27.99…but if you opted for the standard fitted tee (as opposed to the athletic heathered shirt pictured above) then you can scoop it for $24.99. Note that even though the apostrophe is pointing the wrong way in this post’s title, it is pointed the correct way in the print!

LAST

02/17/2010 2:00

I’ve posted a few LOST-themed tees before have and explained how much I love the show (and why), so I’ll spare all that this time around. But I will say that, whether you love it or hate it, you can’t deny it’s a powerful show. The LAST T-shirt, by my collective homeys over at Meme Engine, pays homage to the show and — more specifically — its last season. Supposedly, all of our questions will be answered as the show comes to a close. Regardless, this season is bound to be epic…and I will be sorry to see it end. Get the T-shirt for $24.99.

Food Porn

02/4/2010 8:00

Food Porn is the latest T-shirt by A Collective family member Meme Engine…and it is, as they say, “obscenely delicious.” It was also just featured in the list of 200 T-shirts for Food Lovers on HYA and — as I pointed out yesterday — it’s my favorite among them. You can buy it for $24.99.

Verification

01/23/2010 13:30

Verification is actually a set of two different T-shirts: the Verified T-shirt and the Unverified T-shirt. The set was inspired, of course, by Twitter’s verified account seal visible in the upper right hand corner of (verified) celebrity Twitter pages. Each of these tees is available in a number of different style and tee color options for $24.99 from Meme Engine.

Experimental Wolfpack

01/4/2010 17:17

The Experimental Wolfpack T-shirt is the first showing from [the soon-to-be-updated] Meme Engine. FYI, Meme Engine is A Collective project and is therefore tied directly to ATshirtBlog…so expect to see a lot more stuff from them here! If the Three Wolf Moon T-shirt was the ultimate meme on a T-shirt and the Three Keyboard Cat Moon T-shirt was the ultimate meme T-shirt mash-up (which it may very well be, having combined Three Wolf Moon with another internet phenomenon, Keyboard Cat), then Experimental Wolfpack is the ultimate T-shirt meme mash-up. How so? It reinterprets Three Wolf Moon through the equally played out meme initially put forth by Experimental Jetset with their John Paul Ringo George T-shirt; Experimental Jetset’s concept has since been re-purposed hundreds of times over by many others (and now by Meme Engine, as well). You can see a small sampling and find out more here. All of these things have been done to death. So why would Meme Engine bother with this? Because as Meme Engine’s new slogan states: Real Memes Never Die! Buy Experimental Wolfpack for $24.99.
