This simple My Space T-shirt is charming enough to make even the most internet-addicted among us question why we spend so much time online. The reference won’t be lost on many; if you’re in front of a computer reading this, then you’ve at least a basic knowledge of MySpace.com. Whether or not you have an account on MySpace or believe it to be relevant (many have since migrated to Facebook, Twitter, and various other social networking platforms) is besides the point. The idea of personal space and communing with nature seems more and more foreign as technology advances and we grow more connected. Now, I’m far from being an outdoorsy-type of guy, but even I find it hard to resist the romantic aspect (classically speaking) of this T-shirt, available through howies.

This shirt just makes me sad…but I think anyone who spends a lengthy amount of time online has probably felt this way at some point or other. The Only Friend T-shirt is available on TopatoCo.com, one of the best places for internet comic merchandise. If this print is from a web comic, then sadly (or perhaps “happily”…) I’m unfamiliar with it. It makes for a memorable shirt, though.

Update: It’s a Little Gamers tee, though I still haven’t seen the strip that it references or pertains to. I’ve got some reading to do!

Headline Shirts is another one of those labels that will likely be a regular here on ATshirtBlog.com thanks to their penchant for printing funny and socially relevant tees. Their Reallife T-shirt gently mocks the social networking phenomena that is Facebook by juxtaposing it against the original social networking method: human interaction. Conceptually, this is brilliant. Execution-wise, it’s flawless. It’s all about the type.

Inspired by unsuccessful internet image searches, this T-shirt may only appeal to the nerds who read this (and the nerd who writes this, of course). The type placement, print on the inside of the tee, and subtle irony make this a winner. Printed and made available by Free Gold Watch.
