Support Your Local Farmers

supportlocalfarmers

Support your local farmers. There are a ton of reasons why you should. Instead of listing them, though, I’d rather list reasons why this Support Your Local Farmers T-shirt is awesome. (This is, after all, a T-shirt blog…and there are better sources for finding that information out; google it.) The tee does an excellent job of visually communicating farm-to-table food with its use of pitchfork-as-fork and shovel-as-spoon. The plate consists of a fun type treatment that’s easy enough to read but doesn’t detract from the graphic as a whole. It’s brilliant, really…and even has a local feel to it thanks to some excellent typography. Support Your Local Farmers is printed by Brand of the Free with low-impact dye on 100% US certified organic cotton. They are a green company that practices what they preach with a nice range of graphic tees. And if you purchase this (or any other T-shirt from their line with the exception of “outlet” tees) before June 30, you can use coupon code GOGREEN35 at checkout to save 35%.

Green Light

greenlight

Made with 100% certified US organic cotton, this T-shirt practices what it preaches: a greener lifestyle. Fittingly called, Green Light, this tee is printed by Brand of the Free, purveyor of fine organic, sweatshop-free tees and totes. This is probably my 2nd favorite tee of theirs currently available… the 1st being Re-recycle. Support a greener lifestyle; it’s a good idea.

Re-recycle

rerecycle

Recycling is good for the environment…so re-recycling must be twice as good! Right? Well, either way, this T-shirt is fresh. The recycle logo is a solid example of great design. But what makes this unique is that the recycle logo printed on this tee is made up of hundreds of other recycle logos (hence the name of this T-shirt: Re-recycle). Put out by Brand of the Free, this tee reminds us that recycling only works if we keep at it. The low-impact dye is printed on a 100% certified US organic cotton, so you know the good folks over at Brand of the Free are practicing what they preach. Buy this here and take a look at some of their other green, sweatshop free products. If I wasn’t so strapped for cash, right now, this T-shirt would probably already be in the mail on its way to me (…because I’d have bought it, already…in case that needed clarification).
